Balancing Work, Exercise & Sleep

How is it possible to successfully balance everything you need to do in just 24 hours of the day? Get up for work, get some exercise in, get a good night’s sleep… these are all activities that you want to get in, but struggle to balance them all without being overwhelmed and mentally broken at the end of each day. At Viva, we are somewhat experts on being able to juggle all of this at once, so here’s some insights into how you can make this process all the easier.

1. Eat healthy energetic foods

Find energy boosts in the healthiest of foods to give you that extra kick when you need it most. Fish, green vegetables and nuts are just a few examples of the foods that you should be aiming to eat as much of as you can.

2. Leave work at work

When you leave the office, try to limit your brain from thinking about all things work until you get in the next day. You need to take a break from all work-related thinking, as you don’t want to carry that stress around with you wherever you go.

3. Set aside a date-night once a week

It is important to try and get out of your normal routine as much as possible, so you don’t get stuck in your ways and develop negative mental blocks during the week. Be proactive and make dates with friends or spouses, enjoy the evening and have some fun, you deserve it!

4. If it’s going to be, it’s up to me

In the end, it’s all on you, and you’re going to have to find a way to be happy and enjoy all these activities if you’re going to be able to balance them all properly. For this, we recommend setting some time aside each week just for you, spend time on your own, with your own thoughts and just have some peace in this chaotic world. It will go a long way to handling whatever life throws at you – if you can find inner peace.
